The XVII Week of Science, Technology and Innovation opens on the 6th of November, one of the greatest initiatives involving sciences fields in the Basque Country. The official inauguration will take place in the city of Bilbao with the participation of leading experts.

The aim of this week is to show and share with citizens the scientific and technological capacities and environment. To achieve this objective, there will be organised workshops, scientific courses, didactic itineraries, exhibitions, competitions and guided tours in the cities of Bilbao, Vitoria, San Sebastian and Barakaldo.

This open event will bring together studients, citizens and
leading experts from the biggest scientific and innovation Basque companies (Innobasque, Sener, Ikerbasque, among others) to approach talent from the perspective of science, technology and innovation.

For another year, the
XVII Science Week will contribute positioning the Basque region as an innovative territory. It is remarkable that one of the Core ERNACT Regions is located in the Basque Country, Fomento San Sebastian.
