Fomento San Sebastian is hosting the Economic Development Forum for Eurocities

The Core ERNACT Region, Fomento San Sebastian, is hosting the Economic Development Forum (EDF) for Eurocities, the network for Europe’s largest cities. Over the course of three days, political and technical representatives bodies from over 60 cities in 38 countries will be coming together at the Forum.
 
The purpose of the meeting of the Economic Development Forum, which is taking place in San Sebastian from 24 to 26 April 2017, is to discuss the achievements and challenges facing cities in terms of creating their own local innovation ecosystem, and analysing the role of cities in promoting a more competitive and innovative Europe.
 
Over the course of this 3-day event, the Economic Development Forum offers a combination of workshops, seminars, political debates and study visits, allowing participants to examine in depth the issues of Innovation, Talent, and Business Ecosystem. 
 
The Forum will be attended by international organisations such as the OECD, and the European Commission, along with representatives of major European cities including Vienna, Nantes, Munich, London, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Berlin, Eindhoven, Florence, Helsinki, Goteborg, Genoa, etc.
