HUMAN project
has officially launched with a successful online kick-off meeting hosted by lead partner
ERNACT (Ireland)
. Partners from across Europe came together to connect, exchange ideas, and plan the work ahead.
The session opened with a welcome from
Jose Manuel San Emeterio
, Programme Manager at
ERNACT
, followed by partner introductions and an overview of the project’s objectives, work packages, responsibilities, and timeline.
HUMAN

affordable, accessible, equitable, and resilient healthcare services through the adoption of Healthcare 5.0 solutions
, driven by improved policy instruments in eight European regions.
What is Healthcare 5.0?
Healthcare 5.0 applies the European Commission’s Industry 5.0 approach to the healthcare sector. By harnessing cutting-edge technologies, it aims to transform healthcare delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and improve the overall experience. With the right strategies, Healthcare 5.0 seeks to create systems that are truly people-centred and resilient.
The meeting served to review the most immediate
exchange of experience
activities what includes the engagement of regional/local stakeholders, the regional context analysis and the identification of good practices to be shared among the partners.
The meeting also introduced the
HUMAN Communication Strategy
and outlined planned dissemination activities. ERNACT presented the project’s approach to management and coordination, including tools to support collaboration across partners.
Partners were also informed about the upcoming study visit to Ireland’s North West Region, taking place in September, and jointly organised by
ERNACT and
the
Health Service Executive (HSE)
.
The session concluded with an open Q&A, setting a strong foundation for cooperation as the HUMAN project moves forward.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses!
