As part of ERNACT led and Interreg Europe funded ENAIBLER project, partners have been working on an analysis of artificial intelligence (AI) in different regions. In Serbia’s Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, the context analysis shows great potential for AI but also highlights some challenges.

Vojvodina benefits from Serbia’s national AI strategy, which provides funding for research, supports AI start-ups, and helps universities offer AI courses. The region also has Science and Technology Parks (STPs) that encourage innovation and help businesses use AI.

However, there are still difficulties, such as a lack of trained AI professionals, limited cooperation between universities and companies, and the need for better investment.

ENAIBLER project partner, the Regional Center for Socio-Economic Development - Banat (RCR Banat) is working with local experts, businesses, and policymakers to tackle these issues and support the wider use of AI.

The findings from the context analysis conducted by RCR BANAT will help guide future activities in the ENAIBLER project, ensuring that Vojvodina makes the most of AI and plays an important role in Europe’s digital future.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to support AI innovation in the region!
