Umea University to host 1st Site Visit of the ENAIBLER on Digital Transformation and Responsible AI Practices

ERNACT led and Interreg Europe funded ENAIBLER project partner Umea University is set to host the 1st Site Visit of the ENAIBLER project on the 7th and 8th of June, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) and advocate for responsible AI practices. The Study Visit aims to delve into the latest advancements in AI technology and its impact on various sectors. 

The event will feature an impressive line-up of speakers who will share their expertise and insights. Attendees can expect thought-provoking presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops focusing on the intersection of AI, digitalization, and ethical considerations. 

ENAIBLER project partners Ulf Hedestig and Mikael Söderström from Umea University will provide an overview of the site visit schedule and highlight the objectives of the event. 

An engaging aspect of the event will be the exchange of experiences through workshops. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into real-world cases and discuss lessons learned.  

Additionally, the conference will showcase innovative research projects from Umea University Hospital and Umea University that highlight the potential applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare and public services and representatives from various Swedish municipalities will share their experiences and insights on leveraging AI technologies to address local challenges while upholding ethical standards. 

The artificial intelligence focused event at Umea University promises to be an enlightening and collaborative platform for knowledge exchange, fostering a greater understanding of AI's potential and the importance of responsible implementation. By bringing together experts and stakeholders, Umea aims to lead the way in shaping a future where AI-driven innovation coexists harmoniously with ethical considerations, paving the path for a smarter and more inclusive society.
