European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs)

Call Description:
Digital Innovation Hubs that have been preselected by their Member State can apply for grant aid from the European Commission to improve their hub facilities and employ staff. This will allow EDIHs to deliver services that stimulate a broad uptake of Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Cybersecurity, in both industries (in particular SMEs and mid-caps) and public sector organisations.

Please note that this call is restricted to hubs which have already been pre-selected by their Member State.

Programme: Digital Europe

Purpose:
Improve Europe's competitiveness in the global digital economy, accelerate the recovery and the green transition towards climate neutrality by 2050 and achieve technological sovereignty.

Funding Description:
It will do so by deploying and capacity-building new digital technologies, in order to support digital transformation that will guarantee high quality public services benefiting citizens and businesses.The programme will boost investments in supercomputing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, and ensuring a wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society, including through Digital Innovation Hubs. It has a budget of €7.5 billion in current prices.
