Description
This is the first in-person meeting of the ERNACT network management since the COVID-19 pandemic began. In all, four online meetings were held during the period of the pandemic, allowing the operation of the network to progress and planning for the EU programming period 2021- 2027 to continue.
This first in-person meeting in over two and a half years meeting will take place in Cantabria, kindly hosted and organised by the Government of Cantabria.
It represents an opportunity for ERNACT members to renew personal and institutional relationships as a basis for improved cooperation as the new EU programmes kick into life. Consequently, the agenda is structured to maximise networking, formal and informal, between members.
In addition to the opportunity to update Cantabria's political leaders on the progress of the network, it presents an opportunity to meet and welcome ERNACT's newest region, Nièvre (France), represented by
Nièvre Numérique, to the network.
An important aspect of the meeting is to meet with EU project stakeholders in Cantabria to receive feedback on existing and future projects. This feedback will complement the concentration on updating each member region or city's digital transformation priorities at the last meeting and feedback previously received from member's Brussels' offices.
Last, but not least, the meeting will discuss progress in developing new project proposals, future communication needs and review financial performance to-date in 2021.
